Sundrop Pear Pie Recipe Yields: 8 servings Print Recipe Ingredients: 6 cups sliced pears 1 1/2 cups Sundrop 1/2 cup syrup from pears 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp cornstarch 2 1/4 cups flour 3/4 cups shortening 1/4 cup water Order Sun-drop Now! Directions: Mix sugar,cinnamon, and cornstarch. Cook pears in 1 1/2 cups Sundrop until tender. Reserve juice from pears after straining. Make a paste with sugar mixture and 1/2 cup of juice. Toss pears with paste mixture and pour into pie shells. Bake 30-35 minutes at 425 PIE CRUST Take out 1/3 cup flour, set aside. Mix flour and shortening until crumbly.
