Recipe Yields: 6-10 bars
Ingredients:
• 1 3/4 sticks butter or margarine
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups oatmeal (quick-cooking type, not instant)
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 2 tbsps. Sun-Drop
Directions:
Mix flour, salt and brown sugar in large bowl; cut in butter with pastry blend. Add oatmeal and mix well. Remove 1 cup of mixture and reserve. To the remaining mixture, add the 2 tablespoons of Sun-Drop and mix lightly with fork. Press mixture evenly in a 13” x 9” pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
